IMPORTANT: NEW US TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
***
Attention International Travelers: The CDC is requiring 2 things for entry to the US. This applies to PISA awardees traveling to the Portland meeting from outside of the US. Everyone must show: 1) Proof of full vaccination and 2) a negative viral covid test.
Vaccination must be with one of the WHO approved vaccines (a list can be found here: https://covid19.trackvaccines.org/agency/who/) Travel must start 14 days after your accepted single-dose vaccine or 14 days after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose vaccine.
A Negative COVID test can be a rapid or PCR viral test, but can NOT be an antibody test which is usually done with a blood sample. A negative test is required even though you are vaccinated. Full information is provided here: (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel/index.html)
Travelers who meet the above requirements do NOT need to quarantine upon entering the US. Masks and other COVID safety procedures will be required during travel.
